PANKRATZ, CHESTER RAY
PANKRATZ, Chester Ray Born August 21, 1935, in Merced, Calif. Passed away May 11, 2011, in Lancaster, Calif. He was raised on a ranch in California, and has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1962. He was a truck driver, aircraft mechanic and a carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with family and had several hobbies around the home. He enjoyed carpentry and was a truck enthusiast. Survived by his wife of 55 years Beverly J. Pankratz, son Tracy (Carolyn) Pankratz of Simi Valley, Calif., daughters Kathi (Jerry) Young of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Penni (Dennis) Bennett of Palmdale, Calif., 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also two sisters, one brother, and one sister-in-law. 'Chet' aka: Dad and grandaddy was a loving husband for over 55 years and was the most loving and amazing dad and granddaddy. He has left us and flown into the arms of his Heavenly Father, as his work here has been completed. Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy, Lancaster. Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Lancaster District Cemetery.
