WEBSTER, Alexander J. Lancaster, California, February 15, 2011, passed away suddenly at age 49. A Graduate of Lyndonville High School before completing his ROTC and Aerospace studies at Cornell University and BS degree at SUNY Cortland. Alexander was a proud Air Force Captain, assigned as the management systems operation chief to the Western Space and Missile Center at Vandenburgh Air Force Base. After his military career, Alex completed a Masters Degree in Astrophysics from Cal State Northridge. Alex was a beloved faculty member at Antelope Valley Community College's science department as a professor of Astronomy, Physics, and Physical Science. Conjunction with teaching Alex was an officer for the Executive Board, a delegate to the State Convention, and advisor to the Engineering and Gaming clubs. Alex was owner and operator of Webster Enterprises. Survived by his mother Norma Riemer Webster, sister Barbara and brother Jefferson (Sheela) Webster of Rochester, niece Jessica Webster of New York and nephew Jefferson Webster II of Louisville, Kentucky. Preceded in death by his father Everett Webster. A Memorial Service was held on March 31, 2011, at Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, California.
