HARRIS, Greg E. passed away April 6, 2011 at a friends home in Canyon Country. Greg was born November 15, 1947 in Lynwood, California. He was a long time resident of the Antelope Valley. He is survived by Bill Harris (Brother, WA), Kathleen Wallace (Sister, IL), Eli Saddler (Son, CA and a granddaughter), Pernie Harris (Daughter, IL), Nieces, Carole Webster, Barbara Bonds (CA), Christine Higdon (KY), Brother-In-Law, Richard Youngblood (CA), and many, many friends and family members. He was loved and will be missed greatly by all. He is a Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnamese War, and a member of the Mason Lodge. Greg was President of the Acton Chamber of Commerce 1984 and 1985. He was owner of Harris Welding. He taught Computer Science and Economics at UCLA. A Memorial Service will be held at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Santa Clarita on Saturday, April 23 at 1 P.M. Following the Memorial service the Reception will be held in his honor at the Acton Community Center at 3 P.M. Contributions can be made to the City of Hope National Medical Center in his name.
