BAKEWELL, Lella Elizabeth Born October 2, 1932, in Detroit, Michigan. Passed away April 8, 2011, in Los Angeles, Calif. She has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1961, and was a member of the Lancaster Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survived by her sons Tracy (Cheryle) Bakewell of Albuquerque, N.M., Arthur (Nancy) Bakewell of Deland, Fla., Douglas (Patti) Bakewell of Lancaster, and James Bakewell of Petrolia, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Bakewell. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2011, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy, Lancaster Chapel. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Lancaster Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial will follow at Lancaster District Cemetery. www.halleyolsenmurphychapels.com
