KILLAM, Lois Marie (Fellers) of Seal Beach, California, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2011. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lois was born January 9,1921, in Tower Hill, Illinois. She attended Sparks Business College in Shelbyville, Illinois and later moved to California to marry John Herbert Killam, also of Tower Hill. While her husband served in World War II, she supported the war effort by working at Lockheed Aircraft. After the war, Lois and John made their home in Van Nuys, California and started their family. Lois was a preschool and Sunday School teacher for many years. Upon retirement, Lois and John moved to the high desert community of Lancaster, California, where she continued to serve in many capacities at Lancaster Presbyterian Church. Lois loved nature, camping, bird watching and wild flowers. She and John raised desert tortoises for many years. Lois is survived by daughter Susan (Michael) Thomas, son Donald (Peggy) Killam, brother Forrest (Pat) Fellers, brother William (Joyce) Fellers, sisters-in-law Vi Fellers and Betty Killam, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Fred (Nancy) Killam, grandchildren Kristin (Dana) Scott, Kellie (Gabriel) Jordan and David Thomas (Agnesa Avanesian), great-grandchildren Marissa, Devyn and Gianna Jordan, and Kaitlyn, Naomi and Suzanna Scott. Preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, John Herbert Killam. Lois' life will be remembered for her love of the Lord and her love for her family. A memorial service was held on January 27, 2011, at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles, California.
