HARVELL, Mary Elizabeth A longtime resident of the Antelope Valley, passed away Feb. 3, 2011, at the age of 90 in Paris, Texas. She was born Dec. 25, 1920, in Bisbee, Ariz., the daughter of John Milton Keith and Katie Minerva House Keith. On Feb. 3, 1934, she married William C. Harvell, building more than 50 years of family and memories before his death July 26, 1984. The joy of raising a wonderful family was an accomplishment for which she was very proud. Her survivors include one son, Cecil Douglas Harvell of Reno, Nev., two daughters, Mary Estelle Renfrow of Lancaster, Calif., and Patricia Shufeldt and husband Rudy of Fort Townson, Okla., grandchildren Mary Gayle (Steven) Moulton, Deborah Ann (Otis) Conner, Michael Douglas (Karen) Lehrman, Rudy Leland (Lisa) Shufeldt and Leslie Leann (Gary) Templeton; great-grandchildren April, Jennifer, Stephen, John, Charity, Daniel, Ashlee, Brooke, Tricia, Eric and Courtney, 7 great- great-grandchildren, two brothers, Joe Bert Harvell and Dalton B. Harvell, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will conduct services at a later date. At her request, cremation arrangements are directed by Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
