COULSON, EDDIE ROY
COULSON, Eddie Roy Born June 23, 1939, in Taylor Texas, to Edward Rastus and Gertrude Coulson, who preceded him in death. He was the first of ten children, three of which also preceded him in death. Left to mourn him, his wife of 29 years as of Oct. 16, Yvonne Simmons Coulson, 6 brothers and sisters, 10 children, 16 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. All of whom he loved and cherished very much, he lived for his family. It was his joy after Christ. After completing high school Eddie attended Mary Allen College in Texas, after college Eddie joined the U.S.A.F., where he retired after 26 years, 5 months and 21 days. During his military career, he served in two wars, Vietnam 1971-1972, Korea 1973-1975. Eddie and family joined Christ Missionary Bible Church in 1986, where he served 26 years under Pastor Leon A. Hudson for 23 years and Pastor Rodell Maiden as Deacon until his demise. Eddie was a Christian, loved the Lord and lived it from day to day, teaching and praying with everyone who would listen. Deacon Eddie Coulson was also a member of Joseph A. Meekins Lodge #103 F &AM until death. Viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2011, with a Chapel Service at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011, both at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster. www.joshuamortuary.com
