Born Dec. 27, 1999, in California. Passed away Feb. 11, 2011, in Northridge, Calif., after a brief illness. He was the beloved son of Stacey C. and John J. Platt of Quartz Hill. Caleb was a student at Quartz Hill Elementary School. He was a Webelos in Cub Scout Troop 146. He also played basketball and soccer. Caleb was an extraordinary child, with a smile that would light up a room. He had the brightest PLATT, Caleb Aaron thoughts and questions. He had a passionate interest in Star Wars, dinosaurs and Legos. He loved deeply and brought so much joy and love to all he met. He will be remembered in our hearts forever. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Bryant Brinson, Evan Platt and Sean Platt, all of Quartz Hill; John Platt of Buckner, Mo., and a sister, April Platt, also of Buckner, Mo.; grandparents Colleen Sauter-Johnson, Bill Brinson, and Shirley Platt; great- grandparents Thomas and Bonnie Conroy; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Francis H. Platt. Services will be at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, 1755 East Ave. R, Palmdale, Calif., followed by burial at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Palmdale. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to Cub Scout Troop 146, for more information call Chapel of the Valley Mortuary 661-947-7118.
