WARK, Ruth Miriam Hobson Born Nov. 13, 1916, in Pasadena, Calif. Passed away Feb. 4, 2011, in Lancaster, Calif. She grew up in ElSegundo, Calif., where she went to ElSegundo High School. She has lived in the Antelope Valley for 34 years, is a lifetime member of Eastern Star, enjoyed painting, sewing, knitting and loved to travel. She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Henry F. Wark (Feb. 14, 2007), and daughter Miriam R. Grier (Oct. 1, 2010). Survived by daughter Carolyn L. McAuley of Tehachapi, Calif., grandchildren Leslie Rich, Lisa Long, Nicole Lean, Stephanie Amato, 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
