MAC FARLANE, John J. Born May 8, 1933, in Dubuque, Iowa. Passed away January 19, 2011, in Lancaster, Calif. He has been a resident of the Antelope Valley for 51 years. He worked as a Pressman for the Antelope Valley Press for 27 years and owner/ operator of Mac Farlane Printing for 20 years. John is survived by his wife, Wanda Mac Farlane, sons, John Jr. (Gina), and Jerome (Yasmine) Mac Farlane, daughters, Judy (Robert) Ortiz, and Janet (James) Ford, 16 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Also, he is survived by his brothers, Bud (Ruth) Mac Farlane, and Tom (Odette) Mac Farlane, and sister, Joan (Gary) Glab. Our loving husband, father, and grandfather. The worlds loss was Heavens gain when God took you home. A viewing will be held from 3 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2011, with a rosary at 5:30 p.m., both at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, January 27, 2011, at St. Marys Catholic Church, Palmdale, Calif. Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
