HAZARD, MARIANNE M.
HAZARD, Marianne M. Born April 4, 1957, in San Pedro, Calif. Passed away Dec. 17, 2010. She has lived in the Antelope Valley for 30 years. She worked for Republic Insurance Co., in North Hollywood as a file clerk for 8 years. Marianne was a first soprano in church choir and in the youth group Lifesong. She was a member of Archangel, a Christian rock band in the early 1990s that had a song in the top 5 of KAVC FM radio contest. In the few months prior to her illness, she led worship at the House of Shalom church, while also attending the Desert Vineyard Christian Fellowship since 1980, where she had served in Sunday School. Marianne was a sweet, loving person who believed in Jesus and loved singing for and to God. Marianne loved animals and visited many zoos and animal parks in California.Survived by her husband Scott Hazard, father William R. 'Bob' Hughes, brother Robert 'Bob' Hughes (Sue), sisters Shari Brininstool (Dale), Pamela Hopper (Bill), and Melody Soto (Michael). She is also survived by her mother- in-law Dorothy Hazard, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Harriet Hughes, who passed while Marianne was helping care for her. Services were held on December 27, 2010, at Crawford Mortuary in Northridge.
