RACOCHA, Frank Born November 22, 1923, in Santa Clara, Calif. Passed away December 21, 2010, in Palmdale, Calif., at the age of 87. He graduated from San Jose High School in 1941, enlisted in U.S.A.F. and served from October 1942, honorable discharge Jan. 1949. He then attended Cal-Aero Technical Institute in Glendale, Calif. He lived in the Antelope Valley for 53 years. He worked as a Quality Control Analyst for several aircraft companies, and retired from Northrup in Jan. 1994, after 20 years of service. He enjoyed trap shooting and golf. In February, 1983, his son Craig was involved in a serious car accident. He sustained debilitating physical and mental injuries. Frank took an early retirement so he could provide daily care for his son. He is preceded in death by his wife Billie Racocha who passed in 1990. Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday Jan. 7, 2011, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 1821 W. Lancaster Blvd. Memorials can be given to the church where Frank was a charter member, or to your favorite charity.
