CAILLIER, Robert Edward May 21, 1946 ~ Dec. 23, 2010 Long time resident of the Antelope Valley, Bob Caillier passed away from cancer at a family home in Boron last Thursday. Many people will remember Bob from his years as the owner, operator of the Ave I Chevron in Lancaster, and the Union 76 station in Mojave California. Bob was born in Lancaster California, and lived in Boron throughout his school years, graduating from Boron High School in 1964. He operated family businesses in Kramer Junction until moving to back to Lancaster. He is survived by his son, Dale and three grandchildren, Cody, Troy, and Macailey, all of Boron. He is also survived by his father, Robert, and brother Darryl of Boron, and a brother Bruce of Newport, Oregon. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 12456 Boron Ave, Boron. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Hoffman Hospice, 1543 E. Palmdale Blvd, Palmdale, CA 93550 (661) 272-2355.
