OKEY, FORREST WILLIAM
OKEY, Forrest William aka Bill Okey Born December 3, 1948, Canton, Ohio. Passed away December 11, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif. He grew up in Norwalk, Calif., and has lived in the Antelope Valley for 30 years. He was a sports announcer, he loved sports, movies, puzzles, music and telling jokes. He had the gift of laughter and gift of love and was the greatest brother in the world. Bill Okey was the name he was well known for. Our brother will be greatly missed and loved. He was a man with a golden heart. his laugh and silly grins will be missed. Survived by 2 sisters, Debbie Kerrico and Marbeth Soler, 2 nephews Chris Kerrico and Jason Detwiler, 1 great-niece Annah Detwiler and 1 great-nephew Josiah Detwiler. Preceded in death by his wife Barbara Rae Okey. The family requests that no flowers be sent and any donations be made to the Salvation Army. Arrangements entrusted to AV Cremation, Lancaster.
