BUTLER, Edward J.
66, of Palmdale, passed away November 21, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ed was VP of Sierra Door Systems, Palmdale. He was a proud Marine, enjoyed golf, and was an avid NASCAR fan. It was only fitting that his favorite driver, Jimmie Johnson, won the championship on the day he passed. Ed was predeceased by his parents, Edward C. and Elizabeth J. Butler, also his faithful cat Snuggles. Survived by his daughter, Natalie (Lee) Dodson of Central Square, N.Y., son, Brian (Sandy) Butler of Cleveland, N.Y., daughter, Shannon Stahl, son, Michael Butler, brother, Kevin (Michelle) Butler all of Palmdale, sister, Judy (Paul) Parsons of Portland, Texas, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy, 3150 E Palmdale Blvd, Palmdale. Burial will take place in Syracuse, N.Y.
