MIRANDA, Rachel Mae
Born April 5, 1919, in Wisconsin. Passed away November 6, 2010, in Beverly Hills, Calif. She served in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II, and was stationed in England caring for wounded soldiers from the front. She later served as a Public Health Nurse in Lancaster and in the Antelope Valley, and as a nurse in the Santa Monica School System. She also taught nursing in the Cal State system. Rachel was an Oblate of St. Andrews Abbey, Valyermo, Calif. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Delores Harrison of Columbus, Ohio, and many friends.
