POPIEL, John Marcelli
May 24, 1947 ~ Oct. 30, 2010
Born in Buffalo, New York to John and Alice Popiel. He moved to California in 1964. Johnny passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Survived by his wife Zelda of the family home, sister Georgette, brother Wes, daughter Amy, step-daughter Betty, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Johnny was employed at Thatcher Glass, Pepsi, and Coca Cola. He enjoyed playing pool with family and friends and playing his saxophone. He was predeceased by his parents and step-son Bobby. Johnny will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, November 8, 2010, at Mumaw Funeral Home, 44663 Date Ave, Lancaster, Calif.
