LECHUGA, Gilberto Born November 27, 1925, in Mexico City, Mexico. Passed away October 24, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif. He grew up in Mexico City and has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1957. He worked for Lockheed for 28 years was a member of Moose Lodge and was a member of Palmdale Sister City. Survived by his wife Elvira Lechuga, son Gilbert Lechuga (Kelly) of Lancaster, Calif., daughters Tish Cannedy of Palmdale, Calif., Patricia Anderson (Kif) of Bellflower, Calif., Carolyn Henry-Lechuga (Kenny) of Barstow, Calif., grandchildren Robert Llanos, Gilbert Llano, Adriana Terry, Kimberly Shumbaugh, Jennifer Lechuga, Gilbert Lechuga, Danicia Gold, Jeremiah Cannedy, Lauren Anderson and Faith Anderson. Also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Preceded in death by daughter Lilia Escoto in 2001. Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 29, 2010, at Saint Marys Catholic Church.
