WHITAKER, Glenn Allan
Born June 8, 1926. Passed away October 9, 2010. He is survived by his wife Peggy, son Brett (Christine) Whitaker, daughter Fay Whitaker, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Glenn Allan Jr. Glenn served his country during World War II in the U.S. Marine Corps. The family moved to California City, Calif., in 1967, where Glenn worked as Manager of the City Maintenance Yard until his retirement. He was very well known around town because he made dear friends everywhere he went. He will forever be missed. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at Victory Baptist Church, 10173 S. Loop Blvd., California City, CA 93505.
