SCHEURN, Anna T. 'Terry' age 90 passed away October 5, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif. She lived a full life with love from her family. After leaving Chicago at age 20 she moved to California with her brother Bob Satterfield. They both began skating in the roller derby. It was at the roller rink where she met and began dating her future husband, Carl Scheurn. They eventually married in 1944. They both traveled and skated all over Europe. Not only was Terry successful in her marriage, she was successful in her personal life by waitressing, being vice president of the adoption society in Los Angeles County, owning a ranch where she bred both race and show horses. She also supported her husband in the asphalt business for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Carl of 62 years and her brother Bob Satterfield and her other brothers Art, Dick, and Lee. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Carla Paglia (Joseph) two grandchildren; Analysse and Gabrielle Paglia, sister, Mary Williams. She also had a special bond with Josam Santana whom she loved like a son. She gave her heart to everyone who came along. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 15, 2010, at Good Shepherd Cemetery 43121 70th St W. Lancaster. Arrangements by Halley-Olsen- Murphy Funerals & Cremations, Lancaster.
