He prepared himself for Heaven and passed away peacefully knowing his family and friends spent time with him in his remaining days. He will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his parents Eloy and Libby Varela, son Michael Eloy Varela, brothers and sisters Gloria and Robert Cruz, Mary Ann and Sal Perea, Jerry and Joyce Varela, Robert and Cindy Varela, David and Brenda Varela, Frank and Leah Varela, Cathy and Ron Shurley, 33 nieces and nephews. In Eloys memory 'Live, Laugh and Love,' make every moment count. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster.
