LANG, Royal Charles "Chuck" Born: November 4, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois. Passed away September 19, 2010, in Carlsbad, Calif., with his family by his side. Antelope Valley 'Old-timer', 1944, graduate of AV High School. Served his country; in World War II and the Korean War. Supported his community; through the Rotary Club, United Way, Chamber of Commerce, New Car Dealer's Association and lifetime Elks member; 60 years, Lancaster Elks Lodge, ER 1968-1969. Originally employed at Edwards Air Force Base; eventually retired from the family business, H. W. Hunter, Inc., after 34 years. Loved his wife, his family and many friends. He married Dawn Olive Hunter, June 14, 1951, and celebrated 59 years together. He is survived by his wife Dawn, sister Lois Lenocker, sister-in-law Melinda Richardson Castro, children, Chuck and Joanie Lang, Mike and Deborah Rice-Lang and Marile and Charlie Ethier, grandchildren Charles Hunter Jr. and Jennifer Lang, Cyndy and Todd Poller, Jennifer Ethier, Allison and Jacob Rice, Tim and Steven Maher, great-grandchildren: Cydney Taylor, Drew Poller and Todd Poller Jr., Charles Hunter Lang III, Riley Clair and Holly Royal Lang.
