KERSCHNER, John Charles, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at the age of 62. John was born on February 20, 1948, in Los Angeles. He was the second eldest son born to James and Patricia Kerschner. John moved to Quartz Hill, California in 1952, and lived in the Antelope Valley until his death. He graduated from Palmdale High School in 1966, and married Mary Perry in 1967. Theyraised two daughters, Deborah and Donna.He workedfor the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control.He loved animals and enjoyed raising cows and pigs as a hobby. He was preceded in death by his daughter Donna and his father James Kerschner. John is survived by his daughter Deborah, his mother PatriciaKerschner,his granddaughters Candice Waltrip and Morgan Waltrip, his brothers James Kerschner, Joseph Kerschner, Jerald Kerschner andhissister Patricia Kerschner. He also has a niece, many nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 16, 2010, in Palmdale at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. John was a kind, generous man who enjoyed life and his family. He lived life his way.
