SCARSELLI, Sharlene K. 65, died after a long battle with cancer at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia, CA on August 13, 2010. She was born in Little Falls, MN on April 23, 1945. Sharlene lived in Acton for 5 years. Sharlene attended Dawson County High School. She was a clerk for the United States Postal Service for 31 years, and currently worked at the main annex in Santa Clarita. She was survived by her husband, Gene Scarselli until his passing on August 19, 2010. She was also survived by her daughter, Shantell Quinn, of Valencia; her brother, Bill (Mary) Preimesberger, of Galt, CA; her sisters, Karen Taylor, of Buda, TX, Arlyse (Ted) DeLoyola, of Cave Junction, OR, Tracy (Jim) Hart, of Rosamond, CA; 2 grandchildren, Chayce & Cailee; and many nieces & nephews. Sharlene was preceded in death by her parents, X. Fred & Julia Preimesberger; her brothers, Edwin & Chuck Preimesberger; and her nephew Eric Preimesberger. A Memorial Service will be held at Eternal Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary in Newhall, on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Sharlenes daughter, Shantell wrote, "My mommy was a hard working woman who gave it her all in every aspect of her life. She worked hard, all the way till the end of July when they said she couldnt work anymore. She also gave it her all when fighting her disease for 4 1/3 years. She never complained, never asked anyone to go with her, she just did it. She never said no if someone needed something, she was generous to a fault. She gave so much and asked for so little.
