RAY, Jean
70, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Friday, Aug. 6, 2010. Jean was born Sept. 17, 1939, in Alamogordo, N.M. She moved to Lancaster in 1972, where she owned and operated Sierra Travel Service. She was heavily involved in Special Olympics and with the Palmdale Chamber of Commerce where she served a term as president. After retiring, she moved to New Mexico where she enjoyed her apple orchards. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth; four sons, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
