WINKLER, Susanna Christina Born June 11, 1911, in Cleveland, Ohio. Passed away August 20, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif. She grew up in Warren, Ohio, where she went to Warren G. Harding High School. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking, cooking and quilting. She has lived in the Antelope Valley for 9 years. Grandma was a truly virtuous woman, as described in Proverbs 31. Grandpa trusted in her, she worked diligently taking care of her home. She was never idle, she made beautiful things; she helped with expenses; she supported her church; she imparted wisdom; she reared good children; most of all, she feared the Lord. Survived by her son John L. Winkler (Reta M.) of Lompoc, Calif., son Ronald M. Winkler (Kathy M.) of Lancaster, Calif., daughter Evelyn S. Walther (Leo) of Lancaster, Calif., daughter Martha M. Rueber (Roland) of Lancaster, Calif., grandchildren, Jennifer Guinn, John, Jeff, Jerald, Ron and Robert Winkler, Susie Klein, Laura Weston, Karen Hermanson, Craig Walther, Lisa Brandon, Roland Rueber and Laurie Taxdal, and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Min Jones of Warren, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband John Winkler and granddaughter Jill Kloss. Services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, August 29, 2010, at Lancaster Baptist Church. Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 30, 2010, at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Sylmar, Calif. Arrangements entrusted to Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster.
