WADE, John Thomas Sr. Tom, Big John Beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend has gone to be with his Lord and Savior on August 19, 2010. He was born on February 25, 1942, in Laurel, Miss. As a teen he moved to Lancaster. He attended and graduated from Antelope Valley High School in 1960. He worked for several aerospace companies in the Antelope Valley, and in his retirement he went to work with his three sons and grandsons at Richards Boat Center in Lancaster. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joetta D. Wade, his sister Nancy Ford, his children, Sheryl (Tom) Scheuble, Tom (Cathy) Wade, Robert (Megan) Wade, Richard (Lori) Wade, 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, Evangeline (Baby Evie) Wade, and numerous nieces and nephews. In his free time, Tom loved the outdoors. He especially enjoyed archery, hunting, fishing and NASCAR. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. Tom was a big man who made a big impression in the lives of all his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all of the lives that he touched. Viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Mumaw Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Valley Bible Church.
