HORN, Helen F.
Born Nov. 27, 1933, in Ollie, La. Passed away August 12, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif. She grew up in the San Joaquin Valley and went to school in South San Francisco. Helen has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1968. She worked for 20 years at Lancaster Community Hospital. She enjoyed playing Arizona Rummy, crocheting, cooking and making people happy. Survived by her husband Leonard J. Horn, son John W. Horn (Le Anne) of Lancaster, Calif., grandchildren John Horn Jr., Jennifer Hollatz, Matthew Ide, Sarah Ide and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Dee Horn in 1972, and parents Matt and Lucy Wadley. Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy,Lancaster. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2010, at Lancaster First Assembly of God.
