DIAZ, Onecimo 'Nash'
Born November 5, 1935, in Los Angeles, California. Passed away July 8, 2010, in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Garfield High School in Los Angeles. Nash was best known for his self employment as a business owner of AAA Maintenance and mobile home repair, in the Antelope Valley. Nash served in the U.S. Air Force and received a honorable discharge in 1959, and has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1970. Oncecmo 'Nash' loved hunting, fishing, camping and dirt bike riding all over the AV and Mojave desert. He will be remembered as a self-employed business owner and person who loved to help others. Survived by his former wife Tamako Diaz, children, Jerry Diaz, Susie (Diaz) Cordova, Joe Diaz, John Diaz and step-daughter Sachiko Taira Shimada; 4 grandchildren; Richard Cano Jr., Kristina Cano, Stephen Cano and Yuko Shimada, 5 great-grandchildren Daniel, Brittany, Deziree, Vincent, and Olivia Cano. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 12, 2010, at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, Calif. A gathering will take place at the family home in Fontana following the service.
