HERMAN, Robert G. 'Moon'
Born September 24, 1955, in Santa Monica, Calif. Went home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2010, in Palmdale, Calif., after a valiant battle with prostate cancer. Rob loved the Lord, his family, friends and life. He was an electrician at Lockheed Martin and previously with Glendale United School District. He was the president of the Tim Herman Foundation. Named after his son who died in 1994. He ran a hugely popular baseball tournament. Celebrating 'Children As Gifts' from 1994 to 2005, in the Glendale La Crescenta area. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen, his son, Josh of Portland, Ore., his daughter, Lindsey (Brian) of Lancaster and his beloved grandson, Seth, his 'Little Man'. A Celebration Service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 7, 2010, at Horizon Community Church, 1850 E. Ave. R, Palmdale.
