COHEN, Jack Born August 26, 1935, in London, England. Passed away July 2, 2010, at Antelope Valley Hospital, Lancaster, Calif. He grew up and attended school in London, England. He has lived in the Antelope Valley for approximately 19 years. He was a Garment Production Manager, enjoyed bowling, traveling, and white water rafting. Jack was a Golden Agers in the Palmdale School District and also volunteered at the American Cancer Society and Domestic Violence Council. Survived by his wife Joanne Cohen, son Stephen Cohen of Culver City, Calif., daughter and son-in-law, Leslie Cohen-Pengilley (Kelly) of Rosamond, Calif., grandchildren John David Pegilley and Katelin Rose Pengilley. He is also survived by his first wife Phyllis Cohen. He was preceded in death by his parents David and Rose Cohen. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Cherished by the community with all he did and an avid dancer at the Elkss Sunday night dance. He was the J & J Social and Travel Club CEO and traveled with his club extensively. Our hearts are saddened. We will always remember him as he was deeply loved all around. He definitely did life 'My Way' with no regrets! Our Jack. A Celebration of his life will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster.
