RAUCH, Van Raymond Jr.
Born April 21, 1922, in Glendale, Calif. Passed away in his sleep June 28, 2010, and is now in the arms of the Lord. He moved his family to Lancaster in 1957, where they raised their 5 children. He retired from the U.S. Navy. He worked at Edwards AFB and Prudential Insurance Co. He moved to Ventura, Calif., in the mid 1970s. He is survived by his 5 children, Donna Ownbey (Scott) of Lancaster, Van Raymond Rauch III 'Skip' of Lancaster, Kenneth 'Lee' Rauch (Linda) of Atascadero, Bette Schramm (Larry) of Clovis, Michele Steger (Jeffrey) of Auburn, Calif., and the mother of his children Fran Rauch Cummings whom he was married to for 33 years, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, his brother Don Rauch (Louise) and sister Lida Pilz, numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by his wife of 31 years Marilyn Bond Rauch, 7 step- children and numerous step-grandchildren. Services are pending. For more information please contact family at 805-642-3193.
