RUMPF, CARL OTTO
RUMPF, Carl Otto Born November 19, 1914, Kansas City, Missouri. Joined his wife, Beverlee Rumpf his grandson, Brian Rumpf and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,on Monday, June 28, 2010. Otto was longtime resident, Alfalfa and Turkey Rancher in Lancaster, Calif., since 1943. He is survived by two sons, David Rumpf of Highland, Calif., and Steve Rumpf of Tyler, Texas; three grandchildren, Jana Butler of Missouri, Morgan Rumpf and Lauren Rumpf both of California, four great-grandchildren, Emma Rumpf of California, Sadie, Noah, and Wade Butler of Missouri, brother Richard Rumpf of Arkansas, sisters Hilda Schultz of Michigan, Esther Haley of Missouri, and Gertrude Halfpap of Arizona, sister-in-law Patricia Nygaard and husband Wayne of Quartz Hill, Calif., brother-in-law, Kenneth Windbigler of California, several nieces and nephews. Otto, at 95 years of age was driving and living independently until two months ago. He greatly influenced his family and friends with his faithful devotion to hard work, love and play. We will all miss him dearly. Services will be held at Grace Chapel, 44648 15th St. W., Lancaster, in the Chapel (formerly First Baptist Church) where Otto was a member. Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 3, 2010. Interment will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster. www.joshuamortuary.com
