WADE, Billie Gene 'Bill' Born Nov. 7, 1926, in Cromwell, Okla. Passed away May 26, 2010, in Leveland, Texas. Bill moved to Lancaster, Calif., in July 1940, at the age of 13 with his parents, Rev. William and Mary Wade, siblings Mary Lu, Ruth and James. Bill was drafted into the Army during World War II and served from 1944 to 1946 in the Philippines. Bill was a builder and built 35 homes on Mt. Palomar and did a lot of craft work and also had an Ice Cream truck delivery in Victorville and Escondido, Calif. One of Bills favorite things to do was his annual deer hunt in the state of Utah. He is survived by his wife Naomi Ruth Wade, 3 children Donella Kowalczyke, Lestel Woodbury, and Kevin Wade, two step-daughters Bonnie Morgan and Wendy Turner, 18 grandchildren and 9 great and 2 great-great- grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Ruth Fowler of Quartz Hill, Calif. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Luella Andrews, brother James N. Wade, his former wife and mother of his 3 children Betty Marie Digby. There will be a family reunion Memorial Service with all his family members and loved ones.
