PALISCHAK, John Thomas Born Sept. 6, 1921, in Czechoslovakia to Michael and Helen Blasko Palischak. Passed away June 4, 2010, in San Luis Obispo, Calif. He is survived by his daughter, Renet Clark and husband Charles, brothers, Joe (Alice), Thomas, George, Paul (Arlene), Anthony (Elaine), and Frank Palischak, sister, Theresa (Donald) Stewart, grandchildren, Michelle Beck and Perry (Diana) Beck III. Mr. Palischak was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, sister Helen (David) Noble and brother, Michael (Mary). Mr. Palischak lived in Braddock, Penn., before moving to Larksville, Penn., and graduated from Larksville High School in 1940. He attended Penn State University and was accepted into the U.S. Army Air Force Aviation Cadet Program and was a member of the Aviation Cadet Class 44-C in 1944. He worked hard during his 20 years in the military service, flying 84 missions and earning many medals and decorations. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. Upon his retirement he started the work of fulfilling his dream of building and owning Palischaks Trailer Haven in Rosamond, Calif. In addition to trips to Slovkia visiting family members he thoroughly enjoyed bowling. Funeral services were held with full military honors on Tuesday, June 15, 2010.
