ARNOLD, Doris, 81, passed away May 17, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif. Doris grew up on an alfalfa ranch (now part of the Palmdale Airport) and lived in Palmdale more than 77 years. Her grandfather was mayor of Los Angeles. Shewas an award-winning crafter and a life time member of the Palmdale Womans Club. Dorisis survived by her partner Merle, daughters Nancy and Ruth, and granddaughters Lesley and Jayme.
