SPRAGNO, Joseph Anthony Born April 25, 1946, in Amsterdam, New York. Passed away April 22, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif. He has lived in Lancaster since the age of 12 attending Piute Middle School and Antelope Valley High School. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserves from 1967 to 1973, serving in Vietnam. He worked for Desert Haven Enterprises Inc. His hobbies were his grandchildren, landscaping, coaching baseball and anything to do with sports. He is survived by his sons Errol Spragno (Shelby) of Boulder City, N.J., Joseph Spragno II (Gulan) of San Diego, Calif., Daniel Spragno (Raymar), of Lancaster, Calif., daughter Emily Spragno (Brian) of Lancaster, Calif., grandchildren Aubrianna, Hunter, Mariel, Maegan, Amaya and Darin. Preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Beverly Spragno and son David Spragno. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Desert Vineyard Church (the Cafe Chapel). He was a fabulous father, grandfather and friend. Better than anyone could have ever asked for. He was loved by all who knew him. He will be truly missed. Arrangements entrusted to Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster.
