THOMAS, Evelyn June Born June 11, 1915, in Duluth, Minn. Passed away April 15, 2010. Before moving to California she worked for GTE. She has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1955, living in the same house the entire time. During the 1970s she and her husband Fred were very active with Antelope Valley Board of Realtors. Her main goal in life was her children, grandchildren, great and great- great-grandchildren. Survived by her children Judie Burris (Rick), Mark E. Thompson (Paula), Mary Buckner (Alan), Kathy Pontius (Michael), grandchildren, Mike, Jacque, Shawn, Darin, Jeremy, Alison, Rich, Joshua, Kimberly, Isabella, Julietta, great-grandchildren, Mikey, Alicia, Noah, Elia, Christopher, Taylor, Phoenix, Raina, Tyler, Nicholas, Ariana, Jersey, great- great-grandson Little Mike. She also claimed many neighborhood kids as her own: Michael Harding, James Buddy, Barry Fulp and many others. Preceded in death by her husband Fred in 1972, her son Richard Thompson in 1953. Private family services. The family would like to thank all the people who took time to visit Evelyn over the years, your visits were very much appreciated.
