REYES NANCY LYNN
REYES, Nancy Lynn Nancy went to be with her Lord and Saviour on April 20, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif., where she joins her mother and father, Lenore and Walter Swift. Nancy was born in Los Angeles, Calif., raised in the High Sierras and moved to Lancaster in 1969. She was the beloved mother of 3 children; Tracy (Morris) Fierros of Venice, Fla., Cynthia (Morris) Gentry of Seattle, Wash., and Thomas Morris of Lancaster, Calif. Nancy has 5 grandchildren, Jose Garcia, Juan Gonzales, Daniel Morris, Symone Morris and Thomas Morris, one great-grandson, Albert Garcia. Nancy has lived and worked in the Antelope Valley for over 40 years; serving the public is what she loved best. Nancy worked as a waitress for Mr. Bs, The Desert Inn, Antelope Valley Inn, Nethercutts Coffee Shop and most recently was known as Momma at Coachs in Lancaster. She was named in the 1970s the Hostess with the Mostest when she worked for the Old Timers Retreat on 90th and Ave J. Nancy also worked for Rockwell International on the B1B project in the 1980s. Nancy succumbed to her battle with breast cancer on April 20, 2010. Her last words were Im 86d.' A gathering to happily remember Nancy Reyes life will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Halley-Olsen- Murphy Funerals & Cremations, Lancaster, Calif. A Celebration of her life will be held afterward from 3 to 7 p.m., at Coachs on Gadsden Ave. www.halleyolsenmurphychapels.com
