GADDIS, Norman 'Kip' Joseph Born January 23, 1955, in Oxnard, Calif. Passed away February 26, 2010, in El Segundo, Calif. He grew up on the Central Coast, in Lompoc, Calif., where he attended school. He has lived in the Antelope Valley for 10 years. He worked for Chevron Products in El Segundo, Calif., for 18 years. Loved drag racing, restoring cars, attending NHRA and bike riding. He was also an Instructor for California Drag Racing School. Survived by his wife Susan E. Gaddis of Lancaster, Calif., sons Todd D. Gaddis (Pola Mahboubian) of Palmdale, Calif., and Trenten Gaddis (Jennifer) of Lancaster, Calif., parents Norman and Rose Gaddis of Lompoc, Calif., sister Ruth Poorbaugh (Dave) of Lompoc, Calif., 4 nieces, 7 nephews and 2 great-nephews. Also survived by In-laws Carl and Nancy Betty of California, brother and sister-in-law Carl and Joann Betty of Apple Valley, Calif., brother and sister-in-law Kevin and Kelly Betty of Lompoc, Calif. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2010, at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster.
