WIMMER, Cheri Suzanne Born May 23, 1962, in Glendale, Calif. Passed away February 9, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif. She grew up in Lake View Terrace, Calif., and went to Verdugo Hills High School. She has lived in the Antelope Valley for 20+ years, and was a Payroll specialist in the Aerospace industry. She was an accomplished horsewoman, winner of many trophies. She was at one with her horses and spoke their language. She was a Blue Ribbon winner at the Antelope Valley Fairs for her baking skills. She is finally free from pain, she died peacefully and was surrounded by her loved ones. Survived by her mother Charlyne Gastelum and step-father Abraham, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., father Jack Pleasant of Lake View Terrace, Calif., sister Kathlyne (Bruce) Speirs of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., sister Kim (Tom) Thompson of Westminster, Colo., brother Mark (Barbara) of Peoria, Ariz., her nieces, Shannon and Jennifer, nephews, Mark, Everett, John, Tommy and Paul, uncle and aunt Steve and Diane Pleasant, best friend Joe Barris of Rosamond, Calif. There will be no local services. Services will be held at a later date, her family will come together to honor her life. Her ashes will then be taken and scattered over an area of wild mustangs so that she can run free with the horses. Arrangements by Mumaw Funeral Home.
