MOORE, Jean T. Was born September 5, 1925, in Waupaca, Wisconsin, and went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2010, at the age of 84. She met and married her husband, Carl Raymond Moore, in Washington, D.C. while working for the Navy Department, and later moved to California. One of the most life changing adventures of their life was homesteading a 160-acre farm in Idaho. They moved to the Antelope Valley in 1963. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Delos Taylor; two sisters: Mildred Zenil and Doris Ravey; and her husband, Carl. She is survived by five children: Ray Moore (Carol), Cindy Nixon (Ken), Patti Cyr (Bill), Susan Cox (Jim), and Mark Moore (Kirstin); two step-children: Robert Shirley and Martha Meyler; nine grandchildren: Leslie Cyr, Julie Alexander, Jeni Palmer, Andrew Nixon, Erin Cyr, Heather Morgan, Chris Moore, Nathan Cox, and Allison Moore; and three great-grandsons: Cameron Morgan, Caleb Palmer, and Mason Alexander. She was a Godly woman and a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at Valley View Church of the Nazarene, 30th St. W. and Ave. L-8. Graveside ceremony to follow at 2 p.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Moores name to Grace Resource Center.
