STONE, Gloria Ficklen
Was born May 16, 1939, in Atlanta, Georgia to the union of Robert Lee and Surless Googer Lee. She was a loving sister to Bobbie Washington (deceased), Louie Lee, Claude Lee, James Lee, and Willie Ficklen. At a young age Gloria and family moved to Chicago, Illinois, and then to Hopkins Park, Illinois, where she enjoyed most of her youth in church and working on the family farm. As a young adult Gloria relocated to Los Angeles, California where she was the loving wife to Donald Leroy Stone (deceased), and a wonderful mother to three children; Chrystal, Donna, and James. Gloria leaves behind three grandchildren, and countless friends. The world is not the same without her. We love you Gloria! Viewing will be held at 11 a.m., with Funeral Services beginning at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2010, both at Halley-Olsen- Murphy, 3150 E. Palmdale Blvd. Palmdale, CA 93550.
