FRIED, Leonard J.
beloved father, cherished brother, and dear friend passed away peacefully on Feb. 8, 2010, at the age of 78. Born in Oklahoma City, the third of eleven children of George and Elizabeth Fried, Len moved to California in 1956. He lived in Lancaster and worked in the aerospace industry for over 40 years. Len is survived by his former wife and friend, Lucille Fried, and five children: Laurie, Lindy, Mike, Julie, and Danny. Preceded in death by his two brothers, Donny and Larry, and his sister Rosemary. Len is also survived by his seven siblings: Dorothy, George, Virginia, Sharon, John, Terri, and Dave. Len will be missed by all; he will be remembered for his winning poker games, his avid interest in Nascar, and his unique sense of humor. He will also be missed by his little dog, Frieda. Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy, 44802 North Date Ave, Lancaster.
