SCARBROUGH, Gerald G. Born January 15, 1940, in Wetumpka, Alabama. Passed away January 15, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif. Gerald joined his wife Diana and the Lord on his 70th birthday. He grew up in Alabama and served his country in the U.S. Navy for 6 years. He has lived in the Antelope Valley for 36 years working at the Rocket Site Lab. He enjoyed fishing and golf. Survived by his daughters Laura Thompson (Roy) of Lancaster, Calif., and Tina Sawaked (Sameer) of Bloomfield, N.J., grandchildren Tyler Thompson, Andrew Thompson, Nicholas Thompson, Gavin Thompson, Emily Sawaked and Zahi Sawaked. Also survived by his siblings Cherry Pilgrim, Jerry Scarbrough and Doug Scarbrough all of Montgomery, Ala. We will miss him greatly for his patience, smile and always giving ways. We love you too much Sido but we are happy that you are with Tata. For all who knew him this was his wish, to be with the love of his life again. Services will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster.
