HONECKER, David Dwight Born March 12, 1944, in Centralia, Illinois. Passed away January 14, 2010, at Antelope Valley Hospital, Lancaster, Calif. He grew up in Illinois and California, attending Boron High School. He has lived in the Antelope Valley for 52 years. His career was Hydraulic Specialist on the F-16 Fighter plane. He was an especially creative man ever searching for new and clever ways to solve a problem, improve a design or impliment a vision. An accomplished musician, Dave Honecker enjoyed writing and performing. He loved history and admired many historical figures, mainly of the old west. A man of great presence he was kind and loving ever desiring to help people up and out of unfortunate circumstances. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. Survived by his daughters Lisa Ann Honecker of Hemet, Calif., and Sherry Lynne Furr of San Jose, Calif., grandchildren Travis David Furr and Haley Lynne Furr. Also survived by brother Jim Honecker, niece Summer Montgomery, nephews Chris and Mathew. Preceded in death by his parents Dwight and Dorothy Honecker. His family and friends are having an informal gathering at his home in Lancaster, Calif., on Saturday, January 23, 2010. Please call 661-206-5746 for directions.
