CHARLBERG, Mary Ann, Born February 27, 1931, in Watseka, Illinois, to Joseph E. Carroll and Bernadette V. Schuh Carroll. Passed away January 14, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif. She was a Registered Nurse for 45 years, and Gift Shop Manager at Mission San Juan Bautista, living in Kern County for 8 years. She came to California in 1954, and resided in San Jose, Fremont, Aromas, and Rosamond, Calif. She married Albert E. Charlberg on November 22, 1956. Her education was at Brook, Ind., Grammar School, A.J. Kent High School, Kentland, Ind., Class of 1949, St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1952. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother; member Queen Mum AV Ya-Ya (Red Hat Society), President Kern Antelope Historical Society 2008. Survived by husband Albert, sons Timothy E. Charlberg (Cathi) of Petaluma, Calif., Jerome A. Charlberg (Debra) of Placerville, Calif., Thomas J. Charlberg (Beth) of Rosamond, Calif., and Eric A. Charlberg (Vy) of Sacramento, Calif., grandchildren; Alicia, Edward, Brandon, Jackie, Ann Marie and Michaela. Also survived by brother Joseph E. Carroll of Austin, Texas. Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2010, at St. Mary of the Desert, Rosamond. Arrangements entrusted to Halley-Olsen- Murphy, Lancaster.
