MASSER II, Paul Seidell 80, died peacefully January 5, 2010, following a massive stroke. Mr. Masser was born January 8, 1929, to Paul and Adelaide Masser. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering from University of Arizona. Mr. Masser enjoyed a long productive career as a self employed aeronautical consultant to the FAA and numerous aerospace firms. He enjoyed spending time with family, extended visits to remote areas of the American Southwest and was an active member of Reasons to Believe- a group devoted to demonstrating that science and Faith in Christ are allies, not enemies. Mr. Masser is survived by his three sons, Steve, Norman, and Carl Masser, eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Janet, his beloved wife of 53 years, passed away November 1, 2009. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Lancaster Evangelical Free Church. Pastor Daniel Holmquist will officiate.
