CRAWFORD, Clinton Mitchell, passed away on December 14, 2009. He was a native Californian, born July 29, 1931. He entered the Marine Corps at age 18 and spent 4 years serving in Korea and on several aircraft carriers. Clint is survived by his wife Jeri Crawford, sons Randy Crawford of Ft. Dick, Calif., Larry Crawford of Llano, Calif., step-son Mark Johnston of Littlerock, Calif., daughters Wendy Ash of Corralitos, Calif., Helena Crawford of Salinas, Calif., step-daughters Karen Bufkin of La Habra, Calif., 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He worked as Street Superintendent for the City of Baldwin Park for 23 years before retiring and moving to the Antelope Valley. He is a Life Member of VFW Post 9415 of Phelan, Calif., and a member of the Palmdale Gem & Mineral Club, enjoying their various outings and shows. Clint is being cremated and will be interned at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside. No date has been set at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapels & Crematory, Palmdale.
