BARNES, Clarence J. Born April 4, 1927, in Fort Worth, Texas. Passed away Dec. 17, 2009, in Lancaster, Calif., with his family by his side. He moved to Lancaster in August 1941. Clarence leaves behind his wife, best friend and life long companion Robin Barnes. Clarence was also a loving father of five children; Charlene Foster of Grover Beach, Calif., Jerri (Gary) Burton of Bend, Oregon, Tina (Steve) Hall of Bull Head City, Ariz., Clarence J. 'Buddy' Barnes Jr., (Tina) of Quartz Hill, Calif., Todd R. Barnes (Deanna) of Lancaster, Calif. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren. He was well known as 'The Man' of Lees Muffler where he worked for over 20 years. He also worked for Antelope Valley Bus for 10 years. He loved racing of any kind, especially when it was watching his two boys racing bikes, motorcycles and cars, also his grandkids racing bikes. Dad, we know you are still racing that plum crazy number 95 and you will be forever in our hearts and minds until we are all together again. We love and miss you. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at Mumaw Funeral Home, Lancaster.
